EMP is excellent at reaching out to the community and providing extracurricular events.  Examples of these events include:

Back to School Night - This activity helps the children and parents work themselves into the school year by providing an opportunity to introduce themselves to the school environment while meeting the staff and fellow students while participating in a fun cakewalk event.

Sock Hop and Silent Auction -The Sock Hop is a delightful event where EMP children are able to show off their 50’s style outfits while dancing special dances that they learn while at school.  Alumni are invited and return for this event.  The Silent Auction provided EMP with supplemental funds that support school programs.

Saint Jude’s Trike-a-thon - For this event, the children are sponsored by family and friends for each lap that they complete on their trikes.  The kids enjoy the sunshine and get to experience the gift of giving back to the community through their own efforts.

Ice Cream Social - In honor of Grandparents, EMP Staff and the children decorate the garden with artwork and prepare memorable grandparent gifts that are presented and enjoyed over ice cream sundaes.

Breakfast with Santa - Santa and pancakes?  What else needs to be said?

Pancake Breakfasts -These special breakfasts offer time to play and enjoy meals with fellow students and their families.
